About 5 seconds after I snapped this pic, a guy in a truck across the street opened his car door without looking and smashed it into the knee of an older guy passing by on a bicycle. The cyclist wrecked pretty badly.
PEOPLE, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR CYCLISTS, they're doing us a favor by choosing to ride so please do them the favor of looking out!
My next door neighbors are a bit clueless when it comes to being neighborly. They also have no idea how to list free items on Craigslist. After a few years of being annoyed at how much junk they leave in front of my house, it has become more a source of wonder that I believe needs to be shared with the world. Enjoy!

BONUS BACKYARD JUNK: children's book
Found this random children's book laying fully on top of my hop plants today. My next door nabes have a couple kids in the right age range, so its safe to blame them.
Yet another grocery store cart
These last few days have been exceptional for junk out front of my house. Glad I started this little blog when I did.
That's the guy who, about a month ago, I asked not to leave grocery carts out front. I'm not sure if he actually lives next door or is just their buddy.

Caught in the act!
It's been a big day for my neighbor's junk production. Of course this carpet will sit out here for a week as this very morning was trash pick up.
EDIT: The pile of carpet was gone the next day, so kudos to them for arranging junk pickup.

Yet another shopping cart
Shopping carts parked in front of the house has been an ongoing issue. I've probably had to move eight or so from that spot in the last year and a half.
Two days ago I confronted a dude who parked a shopping cart against this telephone pole and then began walking over to my neighbor's door. He did look like he was possibly homeless and he was definitely wasted. He was a Mexican dude and I was never positive if he understood what I was saying as he mainly just shook his head in an "OK, I gotcha" sort of manner.
Anyway, I was pretty nice about it, I just said, "hey man, someone keeps putting shopping carts here in front of my house and it's pretty annoying, I don't know if it's you, but if it is, would you please stop." He agreed and then took the cart and walked off instead of going into the house next door as he originally had seemed to be doing.
I figured I had just solved the problem...

Then this shopping cart showed up in the morning two days later.

Sheeeyat!
Yup, that's what my neighbors put out front of my house. It tends to happen about once a week that some odd junk placed in front of my house by my next door neighbors, up against the telephone pole there. At first it annoyed me, but eventually it became a source of wonder that I believe needs to be shared with the world.
Enjoy my neighbor's junk!
